Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Gürsel Pekgöz (sole proprietorship), İstanbul, Türkiye ("Hooky", "we"). By using Hooky you accept them. Hooky is listed in app stores under the developer name "megasoft yazılım ve reklam". Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. The service. Hooky uploads your videos and uses automated systems, including AI, to cut pauses, filler words and retakes and to add captions. Each video can be up to 90 seconds long. Results are automatic and may contain mistakes. Please review your edit before you publish it.

2. Your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA), or have a parent's permission where the law requires it.

3. Subscriptions and purchases.

• Paid plans are sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel them in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end.
• Plan limits, such as editing minutes, are shown in the app. Unused minutes do not carry over unless stated.
• Apple handles refunds under its own policies.

4. Your content. You keep all rights to your videos. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your content only to provide the service, including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when the content is deleted. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including the voices and images of other people in your videos.

5. Acceptable use. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, sexually exploits minors, or is meant to harass or deceive. Do not attack, reverse-engineer or overload the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Availability. We work to keep Hooky available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Stored videos are deleted automatically after the periods in our Privacy Policy. Keep your own copies.

7. Disclaimer. Hooky is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI output. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

8. Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending. You can stop using Hooky and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you seriously breach these terms.

10. Changes. We may update these terms. If you keep using Hooky after we notify you of a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the İstanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may use the consumer arbitration committees and courts available to you.
